Hello to anyone who is reading my blog, it has been awhile since I have posted. Honestly it's just because I have been busy both with work and new adventures with the Lord. I don't have my own computer, so it does mean that I'm not on the net everyday, and lately it hasn't been for almost for a month

It's been awhile
Hello everyone!
It's been awhile since I posted anything, yet God is good!
I believe the Lord has pushed me forward into more things of Him. Honestly, it's a little mind boggling but hey I'm not complaining!
The Lord gave me an opportunity to deliver a prophetic word to a local church this past weekend, and I am just believing that the Lord spoke directly into the lives of those who were there. I'm very thankful to the pastoral leadership for trusting in what God and also trusting me enough to speak to the congregation! To me that was a tremendous answer of prayer, and I am excited about what the Lord has in store for next time!
Anyways, I continue to run the race that is set before me, and I am excited for the many things that God is doing in the lives of those around me and in the couple of churches that I have recently attended!

God is unbelievable!!!
Yesterday was an incredible day with God!!!
It's always amazing how God seems to do the greatest things in our lives when we least expect it!
I attended another church yesterday to support my mother-in-law who was preaching at this particular church!
The service was different from what I was use to, but very good nevertheless. During the sermon, all I could see behind my 'mom' an incredible bright light, and all of a sudden three angels walked through what I would describe as a port-hole and they mingled on the platform. At first I thought I was seeing things, but as the service continued God began to speak to me and I began to see things in the spirit. It's amazing how our minds fight the things of the spirit.
To make a very long yet amazing story short, I was directed to deliver a message to the two pastors of the church. In only the way God can, both of them were very willing to listen, and when the message was finally delivered, both men were in tears, they could not move. Both pastors were 'dumbfounded' at the authenticity of the words that were spoken. I would love to tell you what was said, but I really believe that it isn't my story to tell. The message was for these two men, and it's their story to tell. My story is that God is so good, and just when you don't expect it, and when you are simply minding your own business, how God can step into our realm and simply explode His Kingdom all over us. Both men were completely renewed in their spirit. The senior pastor said to me later that afternoon when we spoke over the phone, "Every word that proceeded from your lips, it was like each word was a seed, and the moment the seed landed in my spirit, that seed blossomed into revelational fruit in my spirit, completely renewing my spirit like I have never experienced before!!! My spirit was made new in just those few moments when God's Glory showed up!!
Isn't God amazing?? It is amazing when we allow our spirits to enter the realm of His Glory, and the incredible, life giving words that proceed from the mouth of God!!
Be encouraged, God wants to invade your life, your space, your spirit.

brief points from a prophetic word I recieved
I was going to write the word, however, my close friend who is assisting me in the writing of my book, has suggested that I highlight some of the key points, because it's actually a chapter in my book "In the face of Adversity---Pray"
I recieved this word in mid October 2008, it was stiring in my spirit for quite sometime before I got to the Lion's Den to write!
This is what I believe the Lord is saying to the Body of Christ!!
Allow me to teach you my joy, for my joy is in you! I encourage you to call on the Holy Spirit for he is your comforter... There is a refreshing available for you, so do not be defined by your circumstances but rather be refined and refreshed in the spirit of your mind...My beloved, you must put down your arms of war, and engage in the activity of opening your arms to those around you...Pursue me in every way, pursue me for your answers, for your direction, and your protection....It's time you take your citizenship seriously...This is a call to all of my children..UNITE!!!! Put aside your differences, do you not know that your enemy loves to divide and conquer...I am calling you to be true worshippers, in worship you are protected from your enemy for he can not penetrate the praises of my people! For I inhabit the praises of my people!!!

Happy New Year
Happy New Year everyone!!
I have been enjoying some time with my family and with friends.
My family consist of my wife Heather, and my four daughters. Brittany, Hannah, Rachael, and Grace. I have to share a quick funny story with you!
During the fall, I took a class about the prophetic. You see I have this incredible gift, and I want to learn as much as I can about these senses I experience, these thoughts that just seem to race across my mind and spirit. Anyhow, while I was at this class, a gentleman approached me and said, "I know you don't know me, but everytime I look at you the Spirit tells me that you are a Phillip." Phillip is said. Yes I don't know why, but yes I believe that is what He is telling me.
I left that conversation a little puzzled, I had never heard that before. A few days later, during my own devotional time, I was reading in Acts 19-20. And behold, Scripture says, that Paul went to Phillip's house. I thought to myself, "Oh I'm going to learn something about Phillip, and this is what it said.
"Paul went to Phillip's house who had four daughters, and all of them could prophecy" I giggled to myself and said, "Thanks Lord, you really know how to amuse me, you are soooo Good!!!"
God speaks to those who are willing to listen. He is the Great Shepard, and His sheep know His voice"
It's my prayer for all of you who read this, that Christ our Shepard, will encounter you with His love, and you will have fun conversing with the creator of our world, and creator of you!!

2009?
Has anyone out there considered what the Lord is going to do in the year of 2009?
The number 9 represents in scripture Judgement. As I considered this, I believe the Lord dropped this scripture into my lap.
I woke up with the thought that I should read John 9. It's the story of Jesus healing the man blind from birth. For Jesus it was simply doing what His Father had asked Him to do, but what does the story mean to us? What does this story have to do with the year 2009?
The amazing thing about this story isn't so much the miracle, it's the reaction of the religious leaders. They asked the man, they asked his parents. The parents being very careful to answer correctly, knowing that if they even hinted that Jesus was the Messiah that they would be kicked out of the synagogue. Again they questioned the man who was healed.
How Jesus heard about the story isn't all that clear, yet He was fully God and fully man!
Jesus' response to the man in verse 39 I believe is an indication of what we are going to witness in 2009. "For judgement I have come into this world, so that the blind will see and those who see will become blind" I believe 2009 will be a year where our spiritual eyes will be opened to the greater things of God. This 'openess' will challenge the religious spirit in our churches, it will seperate those who can see, verses those who say they can see! This is going to be an exciting year! Watchout religion, here comes Jesus!!!

How it all started ! The Alpha ! Wait patiently for the Omega !
My name is Stewart Maxwell. Several years ago I sat down at my table and I asked the question "God do you really speak to people" ? From that moment forward I have been amazed at just how much he has to say. This blog is simply the beginning of my many conversations with the Lord over the past several years. It has been an incredible journey. I hope you enjoy reading this as much as I enjoyed writing it.

I thought it would be a neat idea to simply write down thoughts. Thoughts that don’t necessarily mean anything while you are writing them, but as the days and weeks go by I believe I will witness my spirit grow. I will witness a ministering to me. Quietly, without saying a word. I believe the Holy Spirit will engage me into Kingdom perspectives.
Kingdom perspectives for me are incredibly cool. I believe that as I turn by focus inward to my inner spirit man that he will rise to the surface. That somehow by allowing myself to slow down enough to write thoughts out that He actually will seize the opportunity and bring my thinking into Kingdom perspectives. I simply desire to know more of the secrets of the Kingdom. I want to actively engage my entire being into pursuing His Kingdom believing that as I do, his Kingdom will come. NOW !. I truly believe that this is not a reward for our life on earth. Something that is only obtainable by death. Jesus himself said in Luke 8:10 “You are permitted” (you have permission) to see what I see, to do what I do. To have an unenviable unbelievable relationship with my Father. I am beginning to think that if I soon don’t take the chance which I have got it, I probably am missing out on something, not something huge, although that is entirely possible, but simply to receive a revelational nugget to work with. A nugget of truth that will launch me into a different realm.
Scripture tells us that we are in this world. But not of this world. Maybe it is time I started living that way as well. Yet questions continue to come. The question of actually living totally in Kingdom. To think Kingdom, to be the Kingdom.
Lord, my inner man entire existence wants to be a vessel for your love to flow, to speak the life that your Kingdom has into the lives of those around me. To allow the Spirit to manifest His power in the lives of the family God has given to me. To allow the Spirit to create a heavenly heartbeat in my home. That a portion of the Kingdom reside on my property. Lord, I relinquish every right, every freedom to be your servant. Create in me an attitude that reflects your glory. Create in me a deeper desire to allow my inner spirit man to reign over my soul, my life, my family, my job. Lord, it is all of your that I desire. I bind any thoughts of pride, or misuse of the freedom which you so dearly paid for. I thank you for all that you are to me, for the wonderful gifts of knowledge you are about to release. To have the courage to step our into my new journey with you. I am excited for what you are about to unfold.
